Our little explorers at Clay Montessori embarked on their first field trip of the academic year to witness the beautiful craftsmanship behind one of Mumbai’s tallest and most iconic Ganpati idols. Watching artisans carefully shape and create these magnificent idols gave our children a glimpse into India’s rich cultural heritage, creativity, and traditions. A big thank you @ssiddhesh_dighole for arranging this special experience for our children.

Experiences like these nurture observation, curiosity, respect for community helpers, and a deeper connection with our festivals—bringing Montessori learning to life through real-world experiences.

Our toddlers had a wonderful time creating their very own umbrella art by stamping colourful patterns onto their umbrellas. Watching each child explore colours, textures, and creativity while making something they could proudly take home made this rainy season activity extra special.

From understanding how designs are created to watching a real 3D printer in action, the children were truly amazed! 🤩

What made this experience even more meaningful was connecting modern technology with Montessori learning—just like our geometric solids, the children saw how shapes can transform into real 3D objects.
